Katie Palmer, BCBA
Katie earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in drama from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. After a few professional opportunities in New York and on the road, she opted to take those skills into teaching. Katie has worked in education since 1999 serving as a teacher, aesthetic education artist, behavior interventionist, consultant, and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Her training also provided experiences in clinical settings and home-based services. In 2018 she designed and founded Two Roads Academy, an independent school in Vermont using a behavior analytic approach to building psychological flexibility integrated with Outdoor Education, Project Based Learning, and Restorative Justice. She joined the Imagine team in late 2019 to help change lives through the application of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Sonja Cortopassi, BCBA
Sonja Schaff Cortopassi has a long history working with children with disabilities in school, home and non-public school settings. In 2008, she received her undergraduate education in Psychology at UC Davis followed by a Master’s degree in Special Education from California State East Bay in 2013. Shortly after completing her education she became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Her passion to make services meaningful, accessible and fun is apparent in her day to day work with families and she is motivated by the love of seeing others grow and learn.
Melissa Blizzard, BCBA
Melissa became interested in Applied Behavior Analysis while working towards her Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of South Carolina (USC). Following graduation she taught preschool, served as a classroom aide and provided direct, clinical ABA services. She decided to make a career in ABA, graduating in 2018 with a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with a focus in Autism from Ball State University. Shortly after graduation she became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Melissa moved to Idaho in 2019 and is excited about the growth and change that ABA will bring to Idaho and the individuals she serves.
Jenny Vickhammer, BCBA
Jenny Vickhammer received her Master’s in Education focusing on low-incidence disabilities and special education from the University of Montana. She received her certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2018. Her experience includes infant and toddler programs, early intensive behavior intervention, home-based crisis services as well as adult group home support. Jenny enjoys using the science of applied behavior analysis to expand skills and increase people’s quality of life.
